Clinical Therapist

Qualifications:

1. Must possess at least a master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in the field of psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field from an accredited university.
2. Must have completed a practicum in behavioral health services.
3. Must be eligible for licensure in Social Work or Counseling in the State of Missouri.
4. Preference shall be given to those with additional graduate training and/or experience.

Duties:

1. Provide initial intake assessment and develop and implement appropriate treatment planning.
2. Conducting ongoing individual, group, and marital and family therapy sessions.
3. Provide crisis intervention.
4. Participate in diagnostic and cooperative treatment team planning of appropriate cases.
5. Responsible for maintenance of client files in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.
6. Submit appropriate records for billing.
7. Provide billable services appropriate to the clients’ needs while meeting the production expectation for the position.
8. Facilitate and participate in continuity of care of clients served.
9. Participate in on-call rotation of MOCARS for this agency’s service area.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Reporting Supervisor:

Each clinical therapist shall be directly responsible to the Clinical Director.
